It's booked! The next Councillor Cafe - Downtown Edition is on Thursday, January 30th at the Holy Trinity Cathedral - Parish Hall. You don't need to register in advance, you can simply pop by starting at 7-9 pm. NEW!! GUEST SPEAKER: Michael Geller, President of the Geller Group has been a vocal critic of Vancouver's 'Broadway Plan'. He will be speaking about the need to properly build future density in New Westminster. This means ensuring we plan and construct the proper public amenities (parks, playgrounds, schools) at the same time as we plan for new major developments like the Columbia Square Development at 88th 10th Street. Mr. Geller will also be responding to questions from the attendees in a formal Q&A session.
Your hosts Councillors Paul Minhas and Daniel Fontaine will be in attendance to hear directly from you about your issues, your concerns. Some of the topics they anticipate will be top of mind include:
- Columbia Square Redevelopment (88 10th Street)
- Public Toilet Strategy (re new toilet near the InterUrban building)
