Couleecap is a nonprofit organization committed to fighting poverty and empowering people across Crawford, La Crosse, Monroe, and Vernon counties in Wisconsin. As a 501(c)(3) community action agency, we create opportunities for individuals and families to achieve long-term stability and economic well-being. In Prairie du Chien, we operate The Bargain Boutique Thrift Store and Food Pantry. The Bargain Boutique is a 100% nonprofit resale shop that offers gently used clothing and household goods at low prices. All items are donated by generous community members, and proceeds support local programs that serve individuals and families in need. Every purchase you make helps advance Couleecap’s mission to fight poverty and build stronger communities. Additionally, across the street from Pizza Ranch is the Couleecap Eco Cottages, affordable, energy efficient/solar powered housing for the people of Prairie du Chien. We will have bins in the ranch to drop items off.
