CougarCon 2025

Do you love comics, anime, graphic novels, amazing art, video games, tabletop games, and cool goodies dedicated to your favorite show or comic or hero or character? Have you always wanted to go to a ComicCon but couldn’t quite make it? Do you like anime and comics conventions? If so, you should attend CougarCon 2025, Columbus State’s action packed convention dedicated to comics, anime, games, and pop culture!

On Friday and Saturday, we’ll have panel presentations about all kinds of pop culture, cooking demos, a video game room where you can play and watch games, a tabletop gaming room, a boardgame room, a craft room, an anime showing room, a movie room, an awesome Vendor and Artist Alley, Charity Raffle and other amazing events and things to do! We’ll also have Mario Kart Free-Play on Friday, a Super Smash Brothers Tournament on Saturday, a Cosplay Contest on Saturday, and a Dance Party after our Closing Ceremony on Saturday!

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. We cannot guarantee requests made after May 3rd.

We strongly encourage all attendees to bring their own water bottle labeled with their name to the event. Water bottle refill stations are available near the restrooms.

Children's Policy

CougarCon will be an action packed event and can be overwhelming for anime and gaming fans of all ages, including our youngest fans. We have a few guidelines and policies that will ensure your child's time at CougarCon will be awesome.

First and foremost - while we have done our best to make the event suitable for all ages, any children at the convention are not the direct responsibility of CSCC or CougarCon staff and volunteers. A parent or legal guardian must accompany any and all children under the age of 12 at all times. No Exceptions.

For children 10 and under, a free badge will be given with the purchase of a regular badge. Children with a child badge will NOT be admitted to any rooms or events without an accompanying adult.

Be sure you select a 10 yrs. old or younger add-on ticket so that your younger friends get their own CougarCon name badge!
