Cottage Food 101
About this Event
Do you produce food from a home kitchen to sell to the public, or are you interested in getting started? This workshop will provide information on Florida’s cottage food regulations, labeling requirements, guidance on which foods qualify as cottage foods and food safety considerations.
This course is open to all participants; however it is an introduction and designed for those just getting started.
The class will start at 5:30PM and end at 7:00PM. The course will be offered in-person at the Bert J. Harris Agricultural Center Conference Room 2 (enter through the main office doors) in Sebring, FL.
