Costume Showcase 2026

Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School graduating costumiers present their major work costumes on the main stage in this enchanting 40-minute showcase.

The culmination of a year of making, these garments are shown alongside works of millinery, pattern-making and historical costume. Music, lighting and movement bring each garment to life on stage, creating an immersive experience where craft meets performance.

Costume Showcase highlights the work of students in the NZ Diploma In Costume Construction, Aotearoa New Zealand’s only tertiary costume construction programme. This event is supported by students from the Bachelor of Performing Arts (Production).
