This talk will share some highlights from a fortnight-long tour of Costa Rica - one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet. Expect plenty of Hummingbirds, Toucans and Tanagers as we travel by bus and boat around this beautiful part of Central AmericaAbout our speaker:
James Walsh is a local birder, resident in Letchworth and a member of our Local Group. He has been birding for over 40 years and, when not scrutinising his local patch around the Hitchin Lavender Fields, he enjoys travelling further afield in search of birds.
He is a regular October migrant to the Isles of Scilly and is hoping to clock up an eleventh visit to Fair Isle once the Bird Observatory there has been rebuilt. He also enjoys birding overseas.
Visitors welcome: £4 on the door. Members of Hitchin and Letchworth Local Group: free (£17 annual subscription). No need to be a member of RSPB.
