You might be wondering, What is Cacao & why do we drink Cacao in Ceremony?
Cacao is the raw, unprocessed form of chocolate derived from the cacao bean. A cacao ceremony is a ritual practice where people gather to consume ceremonial-grade cacao, often accompanied by meditation, music, and reflection, to promote deep inner connection, emotional healing, and spiritual growth.
Cacao is known to open the Heart Chakra, allowing us to feel from the Heart, dissolving the Ego. These sacred ancestral roots trace back to ancient Mayan and Aztec traditions where cacao was for healing inner conflict, conflict resolution and as a superfood. Mayans knew that Cacao had enough nutrients to last them 4 days.
Cacao has been adopted into many other traditions like the Lakota traditions; which Kaileigh & Charlette are trained in to be used in healing ceremonies.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR CACAO CEREMONY EXPERIENCE:
We will come together in a sacred circle to set our intentions for the Cacao Ceremony as we pour our love & blessings into each cup we serve. Each guest will receive a Serving of Cacao, we will take a few moments to sip in the Energy of Mother Cacao as we reflect on our intentions, casting them into our cup.
As we embody the spirit of Mother Cacao, we will pass a talking stick around to get to know each person in the circle & what brought them to ceremony. Each person will have time to pull a card from our Oracle deck to receive a divine message from spirit.
As we drop deeper into our Heart Center, as Mother Cacao caresses us with her warm embrace, Facilitators Kaileigh & Charlette will guide us on a Shamanic Journey & Sound Bath experience of inner wisdom & transformation.
Following this experience we will take a brief break for everyone to ground back into their body, reflect on their experience, & journal about what came through on their journey.
Following the break to journal & ground, we will have a few partner experiences we will team you up for, allowing you to co-create love & abundance for one another during ceremony, building bonds & connections you can take home from this space when you leave.
We will close the ceremony by releasing all of the energies that no longer serve us, leaving us to walk out feeling lighter, worthy of all that is for our highest good, & knowing that the spirit of Mother Cacao is always within us when we need her guidance.
(Please dress comfortably & prepare to be seated on the floor using a yoga mat/meditation pillow for this event, Chairs are available if needed.)

-An Offering for the Alter(This can be an item found in nature, a crystal, something handmade, this item is something you choose to leave with loving intention on the alter to help call in your blessings)
