Corona del Mar Commercial Corridor Study Community Open House

Dear Corona del Mar residents, business owners, and property owners:

The City of Newport Beach Planning Staff invites you to attend a community open house and provide your input on shaping the corridor.

The City is conducting a Corona del Mar (CdM) Commercial Corridor study focused on land use and mobility. The study aims to enhance and improve the CdM commercial corridor into a more vibrant, walkable, and connected “main street” destination. When completed, the Study will provide recommendations to help create a successful and thriving commercial corridor that better serves both residents and visitors.

You’re invited to attend the upcoming Corona Del Mar Commercial Corridor community open house!

When: Tuesday, August 12th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Where: Oasis Senior Center – Event Center Room, 801 Narcissus Avenue, Corona del Mar, California, 92625

Refreshments will be provided.

What can you expect?

The meeting will begin with a short presentation at 5:45 p.m., followed by time to visit the open-house stations to learn more about the study’s goals and key findings, and review and share feedback on the draft recommendations, including potential zoning updates and parking recommendations. These recommendations reflect the input gathered from local businesses earlier this year. Participants are invited to provide feedback.

Voices of business owners, tenants, property owners, and residents are crucial to ensure the final study accurately reflects the needs and values of the entire CdM community.
