🌽 Cornfed Roller Derby is excited to kick off Season 13 with a Caturday Morning black and white scrimmage on Saturday, November 22 at Gibson Arena in Muncie, Indiana.🛼 Participation in the scrimmage will be open to visiting skaters from surrounding leagues. There will be two scrimmages that morning based on skater skill level. The beginner/intermediate scrimmage will be from 8:00 - 9:30 am and the intermediate/advanced scrimmage will be from 9:30 - 11:00 am.
🐈 The cost to participate is $10 per skater, all skaters must have current WFTDA insurance. Participation is limited to 15 visiting skaters in each skill level with a waitlist in case of cancellation. 🐈⬛ Cornfed's coaching staff will strive to create two equally matched teams for each scrimmage including visiting skaters and CFRD league members. Team placements will be sent out the week of the scrimmage.
👀 These scrimmages will follow the WFTDA gender policy, but don't worry, we’re busy planning our annual all-day open gender Cornflict Scrim-a-Thon for January. Stay tuned to our social media for more information.
💙 This scrimmage will be open to spectators for a $10 suggested donation at the door. This is a low-key event which will not include an announcer, score board, or seating. Spectators should bring their own chairs.
😻 Cat themed outfits are encouraged but not required.
