Join Cornellians on Cornell Cares with Chicago Animal Care and Control! Your visit will include: an introduction to Chicago Animal Care and Control and Safe Humane Chicago (SHC is the organization that hosts these groups within the shelter) an overview of the services and programs that we provide, a chance to do some work for the shelter such as fixing equipment or cleaning toys, a chance to meet some of our dogs and cats, and some time spent doing what we call In Kennel Enrichment which gives your volunteers a chance to really interact with the animals.
