Corneal Dystrophies & Foreign Body removal training (3 CPD points)

This event is for Optometrists only, attracting 3 CPD points in total with the evening being split into 2 parts.

The first part of the evening is a lecture by Consultant Corneal and Refractive Surgeon, Mr Nizar Din, who will shed light on Corneal Dystrophies. This will attract 1 CPD point and he will take a deep dive into various conditions including:

• Keratoconus
• Fuchs Endothelial Dystrophy
• Epithelial Basement Membrane and more.

Surgical videos, tips on clinical diagnosis, investigation and treatment plans will be shared. There will be oppurtunities to ask questions and discuss referral pathways.

The 2nd part of the evening will be a hands-on, practical session on corneal foreign body removal attracting 2 CPD points. 1-1 training will be provided to each delegate.
