Corey Legge plays heartfelt blues, rock and alt-country, drawing influence from growing up amongst the fertile pastures surrounding Bega (NSW). Now based in Wollongong (NSW), Corey has released three albums in three years, resulting in international radio airplay and a slew of support slots for high profile artists including Ash Grunwald, Dallas Frasca and Fanny Lumsden. Corey's debut single ‘Driving out of Eden’ was shared by the legendary James Taylor, adding to the already considerably large buzz around Corey’s music and live show. Corey’s storytelling and guitar prowess are not to be missed.
In 2023, Corey recorded with multi-award-winning producer Nash Chambers at Kasey Chambers’ ‘Rabbit Hole Recording Studio’ and toured throughout Europe, with shows in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Corey recently performed stand out shows at the Melbourne Guitar Show (VIC), West Australian Guitar Festival (WA), Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival (VIC), and Blues at Bridgetown (WA). Corey was also a Top 10 finalist in the renowned Gympie Music Muster Talent Search in 2023.
Following on from the highly successful singles ‘Friday Nights’, ‘West Coast’, ‘I’m Coming Back’ and ‘Moment in the Sun’, Corey will be releasing a new single ‘Rain Down on Me’ on Friday 6th September 2024. Corey's 4th studio album is set for release in November 2024, which will be followed by an Australian and European album launch tour. Corey is proudly endorsed by Cole Clark guitars and Fender.
Corey Legge is the frontman of blues-rock festival favourites The Swamp Stompers, who have played at the Perth Blues Club many times over the years.

From standing ovations at festivals to crammed inner Melbourne pubs, no two shows are the same. Vibrant and unforgettable, a Checkerboard show is a tour-de-force of honesty, integrity and truthful musicianship; the very essence of a live music experience.
After placing as semi-finalists at the 2020 International Blues Challenge, 2022 saw the launch of the critically acclaimed ‘SUN Sessions’, recorded at the legendary Sun Studio, Memphis TN. The album shot to the #1 spot on the Australian Blues and Roots National Radio Charts and remained in the top 20 for over a year.
The album also won the Music Victoria Industry Award for Best Blues Work as well as 3 awards from the Vic/Tas Blues Music Awards including Best Band. As well, it made it into the Top 10 of Rhythms Albums of the Year alongside the likes of Midnight Oil and Hoodoo Gurus. Having spent the year playing shows and festivals with the likes of Joe Camilleri’s Black Sorrows and US guitarist Robben Ford, the band are at the top of their game, garnering rapturous response from audiences everywhere.
