Core Tools for Schools kicks off June 1, bringing our community together to help local students and teachers start the school year strong. While the name is new, the mission remains the same: ensuring every classroom has the essential tools needed for learning, growth, and success.
As families prepare for a new school year, many students still face the challenge of arriving to class in August without basic school supplies. Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, donors, and supporters, we can help bridge that gap and provide teachers and students with the core tools they need to learn with confidence from day one.
Your support of Core Tools for Schools helps create brighter beginnings, stronger classrooms, and greater opportunities for students across Lake County public schools.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Collect School Supplies
Rally your business/organization, patrons and employees to collect essential supplies. It's a powerful, collective effort to help our community's most vulnerable students.
Collect supplies from June 1 - 30
Boxes and posters are limited but available upon request. Otherwise, we have promotional materials (linked below) available to help you get started with any large box or bin in your lobby/office area to hold any collected supplies.
Supply weigh-in collection events will be held in both Minneola and Leesburg. Load up your collected supplies and turn them in!
