CORE CELEBRATION CONCERT

CORE Celebration is a citywide worship gathering featuring a rich musical program including choir, instrumentalists, singers, and many local musicians from the professional and church communities within our city.

The next CORE Celebration concerts i scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at our NEW TIME 3:30pm at Grace Presbyterian Church. We are happy to welcome our guest speaker Hanna Juul-Hansen of the New Canadian Hub of Centre for the City (Centre for the City .) "We welcome people of all immigration status, including refugees claimants. We provide friendship, community and practical support to newcomers to Canada." The organization seeks to love, support, and encourage individuals experiencing challenging circumstances in the city of Calgary. They are inspired and strengthened by the ministry of Jesus Christ who invites us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

In partnership with other agencies, Centre for the City walks alongside our under-resourced neighbours—regardless of their beliefs, race, and gender— by helping them to meet their spiritual and physical needs. Rooted in God’s grace, we can transform our City, build a brighter future for our nation, and unite our communities around His love for us.

The choir will feature a number of choral pieces and the Ambrose University Brass ensemble will join us as musical guests.

REMINDER: ACCESS TO GRACE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IS RESTRICTED

The only access to Grace Presbyterian Church will be through the SOUTH DOOR and WEST DOOR. (All other doors will be locked. In addition, these doors will open for you to enter at 2:45pm and then be locked again at 3:45pm, so please arrive and enter within that timeframe.
