A Hero’s Work is Never Done - Aquarivir 509 A.S.
With the coming of the new year, the people of Vorydia have much to rejoice. The long and senseless war between Vorydia and Azreala’s Hope has mercifully come to an end. The centuries-long friendship between Queen Isobella and Queen Azreala has been reestablished and collective rebuilding efforts have started. Even while the threat of the war loomed, the past year saw the Heroes also managing to take care of the multitude of problems that always seem to crop up in need of valiant and determined hands.
The Crown has issued a decree that a recognition and award ceremony will be held during the Aquarivir gathering in order to properly reward the heroes for their service during the war.
Yet wise eyes, looking ever onward, spy the future and what new adventures await. Now that the Heroes of Vorydia no longer have a war to contend with, they have come out of the Yule season and into the Turning of the Year to assess the state of the nation and of the world.
Lingering questions and issues with the entity known as the Blighter have, thankfully, calmed with the onset of the winter season. Those invested in such problems have a few months respite in order to ponder a solution to this ancient foe, which is anticipated to resurge and will need to be dealt with once the summer months grace Vorydia again. In the meantime, there are whisperings of Something Else causing disturbances in the wilds of the Sca’th. Something with the mind of a machine… something that tastes of a hive…
Various rebuilding efforts and conundrums are being launched which will undoubtedly need the help of the heroes, not to mention rumors of strange portals and even stranger runic magics afoot. Then there is the chilling tale of a haunted prison…
The Aquarivir Gathering, the first of the year 509 A.S., will be held in the duchy of Erranore, where a significant amount of heroic attention is needed after the disastrous occupation by Azrealan forces.

Food Service for this event...
- Chef Guy’s Kitchen will be serving Saturday Feast as usual, with the menu To Be Determined. We will announce the menu when it has been finalized.
- Breakfast will be served Saturday and Sunday morning.
- Lunch Day Board, and Beverages will be available all weekend.
