VAWG and domestic abuse awareness Training

Join us for the VAWG - Training, an event aimed at equipping individuals with the understanding of violence against women and girls's in our community.

One in four women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime and our vision is of a world in which women and children live free from all forms of violence. This training will aim to empower those working within Folkestone with knowledge and awareness of VAWG and domestic abuse, to be able to recognise the signs, speak sensitively and signpost to specialist services.

This event is scheduled to start on Monday, 23rd February, 2026 at 9.30am - 12 PM GMT. We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early to ensure a prompt start.

This in-person event will take place at the Folkestone Civic Centre, Chambers. Unfortunatley there is very limited parking here.
