Health & Safety Overview

Useful information for childcare settings

Dear childcare provider

Join us for a briefing to go over health & safety, site safety, traffic management and fire safety.

Settings based on school sites MUST attend this session, but it is strongly recommended that those in other venues also attend.

Chantal Ferguson, the Compliance Officer for schools, will talk about guidance issued to schools and highlight anything that is relevant to childcare settings and that can be implemented in your settings. In the meantime, please see attached bilingual guidance documents that you should familiarise yourselves and your staff with.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with fellow practitioners.

The briefing will take place on Wednesday 25 September on MS Teams 6pm-7pm.

You are welcome to use Welsh at the meeting, just let us know by 13 September should you wish to do so.

Bydd Chantal Ferguson, Swyddog Cydymffurfio ar gyfer ysgolion, yn trafod canllawiau wedi'u rhoi i ysgolion ac yn tynnu sylw at unrhyw beth sy'n berthnasol i leoliadau gofal plant ac sy'n gallu cael ei roi ar waith yn eich lleoliadau. Yn y cyfamser, dyma atodi canllawiau dwyieithog y dylech chi a'ch staff eu darllen.

Bydd cyfle i ofyn cwestiynau a rhannu profiadau gydag ymarferwyr eraill.

Bydd y sesiwn wybodaeth yn cael ei chynnal ddydd Mercher 25 Medi rhwng 6pm a 7pm ar MS Teams.
