Copy of Sewing with Confidence! Level 2
About this Event
Sewing is a practical skill with endless possibilities.
Our guest instructor, Lucy Siordia, loves teaching sewing as a powerful way to express creativity and transform spaces into something personal. She offers a supportive, beginner-friendly setting where students learn practical skills and gain confidence at a sewing machine.
This 5 week series kicks off on Thursday, June 18th at 5:30pm and continues every week finishing up on 7/16. We are asking a suggested donation of $200 to cover tools and materials for everyone. Donating a little more covers the cost for others to join at affordable rates. Pay what you can- we don't want cost ito be a barrier to participation.
Our shop has all the supplies you'll need and there is no need to invest in your own home machine- we hope participants in this class will come back as often as you'd like to use the variety of machines at the shop.
This class is for anyone who wants to learn sewing machine setup and safety, basting, zig zag stitching, basic seams, finishing techniques backstitching and more. You'll complete projects like scrunchies, zipper pouches, tote bag or pillow.
All Classes are Thursdays 530-730:
6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16
