This breakfast is free, informative and provides a fun yet meaningful setting to get to know others in your Prince William County community. Networking is a mild part of the morning and not the primary focus. The focus is to connect with the many stories you’ll discover about the men and women who live, work, and play in our community. The event begins with coffee and a little networking, then is followed by breakfast and our guest speaker.

Our July guest speaker is John Irving.

John Irving is a husband, father of four, grandfather, attorney, and entrepreneur based in Northern Virginia. John grew up genuinely poor, on government cheese and crab apples, moved nine times before high school, put himself through college and law school while supporting his mother and siblings. His journey toward purpose, and stability was anything but straight. He and his wife Kimberly, married 29 years, have built their family not only through birth and also adopted two children out of circumstances most people would have walked away from.

John speaks not as someone who has arrived, but as someone who keeps showing up. He believes the most honest thing a person can say about purpose filled life is that it costs them something, but it gives them back much more. Come and listen to John’s story.
