The Polo Fields Golf & Country Club will be hosting the Annual Ladies of Derby Golf Scramble on Sunday, April 26, 2026. This fundraising event benefits Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky.

Here are the details:

• Date: Sunday, April 26, 2026
• Time: 11:00 am check-in and Brunch
• Shotgun Start: 1 pm sharp
• Format: 2-person golf scramble
• Cost: $90 per participant
• Includes: Cart rental, 18 holes of golf, gifts, brunch, after play appetizers.
• Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to Gross and Net winners, as well as proximity prizes.
• Additional Activities: There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and other enjoyable ways to contribute.

Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky, established in 2001, is the beneficiary of this event. Their mission is to provide educational resources, support to cancer patients and their families, and research funding for ovarian and gynecologic cancers. It's important to note that currently, there is no definitive test for ovarian cancer. Symptoms can include bloating, feelings of fullness, pelvic or abdominal pain, and urinary difficulties—symptoms that women may experience throughout their lives. Ovarian cancer ranks 5th in cancer deaths among women.

By participating in or contributing to this event, you'll be supporting a crucial cause and helping raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research and support in Kentucky.
