Denise Schumacher, MD
ima board-certified physician who specializes in Gynecology, which covers the full spectrum of women's health.
Dr. Schumacher earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Biology from the State University of New York, Potsdam, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Grand Forks. She completed her OB/Gyn residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals, Madison.
She is board-certified by the American Board of OB/Gyn. Dr. Schumacher has practiced OB/Gyn in the Fargo area for the past 20 years. Prior to that she served in the US Army as a Captain and a Major, and was an OB/Gyn in Army Community Hospitals in Ft. Riley, Kansas and Ft. Hood, Texas.
Dr. Schumacher has also recieved the Menopause Society Certified Practioner (MSCP) credential from the Menopause Society. The nationally recognized certificiation reflects advanced expertise in caring for women thorugh perimenopause, menopause and beyond, providng the latest evidence-based care for symptoms like hot flases, brain fog, sleep changes and more.
She lives in Fargo and has four children and six grandchildren.
