He’s worked with some of the best comics in the industry including Mike Birbiglia, Jim Breuer, and Lewis Black. He’s been a contributing writer to NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “ABC’s Politically Incorrect”. He’s a frequent guest on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show”. He has as DryBar Comedy Special called “Further Along than Anyone Expected” with over 1 million views. At the age of 48, David became a Paid-On-Call Firefighter and at the age of 53, became a Full-Time firefighter. In November of 2021, he had the honor of being a presenter at the prestigious TEDx Detroit event where he spoke about his careers in both comedy and the fire service.
