It's Lepp's 10th Annual Peach Pie Compeition!
HOW IT WORKS:
Calling all bakers! This is your chance to showcase your baking abilities to our panel of judges. Plus, it's a perfect excuse to sharpen your peach pie-baking skills. Bake your pie and bring it down to the market, ready to serve!
The competition will be held at our Corn & Peach Festival on Saturday, August 15 at 2:00pm.
Your creations will be judged in 4 categories: - Presentation: This is your chance to put your Pinterest-worthy lattice-weaving skills to the test! - Filling: It's all about the peaches! - Crust: that buttery, flaky crust. - Overall Creativity: no two peach pies are the same, what is it that sets yours apart? Points will be awarded for unique flavour combinations, as long as Lepp's Okanagan peaches remain the main focus of the pie.
Important Info for Bakers:
Registration cut off is Monday, Aug 10 at 4:00pm!
Check-In On The Day Of: Please check-in to the competition between 1:30pm to 2:00pm. CHECK-IN WILL END AT 2:00PM SHARP.
WINNERS!
1st Place: $200 to Lepp Farm Market, A custom embroidered Carhartt apron, and a case of Lepp's peaches
2nd Place: $100 to Lepp Farm Market
3rd Place: $75 to Lepp Farm Market
All entrants receive a $20 gift card to the market for participation.
