In this 90-minute workshop, participants will create an abstract self-portrait that explores identity, emotions, and personal symbolism through color, shape, and mark-making. After a brief introduction to abstract portrait techniques, participants will experiment with acrylic paint, layering, and expressive brushwork to represent aspects of themselves without focusing on realistic features. Artists will be encouraged to use colors, patterns, and symbols that reflect their personality, experiences, or mood. This workshop is designed for all skill levels, emphasizing creativity, exploration, and self-expression, and all supplies are provided.
