During this one day course you will learn the Tiffany method for stained glass using copper foil instead of lead came as in glass windows.
You will be able to choose for a selection of designs. Over the course of the day you will gain an understanding of the materials, tools and learn the essential techniques from cutting glass, applying copper foil and solder before polishing your work and applying patinas if desired.
Copper foiling is a very versatile technique allowing you to make more intricate patterns with the possibility of adding 3D elements using wire and/or beading.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits are provided. Please bring your own lunch.
You should wear sensible (no open toes) shoes for this this workshop. Old clothing or an apron is recommended.
No experience necessary
