Copper Foiled Flower Sun Catcher with Nikki Clark

Make two pretty copper foiled ‘Flower’ suncatchers using the designs provided by your Tutor and stained glass artist, Nikki Clark. As well as cutting and grinding the pieces correctly before applying the thin copper foil, you will learn how to make the wire stamens that will eventually be soldered to the centre of the flower. Finally, you will blacken the solder and clean the glass ready for a ribbon to be attached.
Nikki will provide everything you need for the day, including glass, use of equipment and other necessary materials.
Please note there is a material cost of £25 payable to the tutor on the day of the workshop.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch, tea and coffee throughout the day and cake in the afternoon.
This course is not suitable for pregnant women or nursing mothers and there will be a Health and Safety briefing, including the use of safety equipment, before the course starts. Please wear old clothes and sturdy boots and bring reading glasses for close up work if you need them.
