Come to the stunning Bowood House & Gardens in Wiltshire to learn the beautiful craft of copper foiled glass.
During the day you will learn all the skills; from cutting glass accurately, to adding the copper foil and finally soldering. You will have a choice of templates for either a small panel or a couple of hanging ‘light-catchers’ to take home with you. All tools and materials are provided.
You will also learn some of the history of copper foiling and get inspiration from makers in this beautiful craft.
No experience needed, all tools and equipment provided, please do wear enclosed shoes (no sandals or slip-ons) and either clothes you don’t mind getting mucky, or bring an apron.

Iain has been making Stained Glass for 20 years, and studied glass at post-graduate level at Central St. Martin’s School of Art & Design in London. He has been teaching for 8 years from his studio near Pewsey.
