About this Event

The Oak Cliff Cultural District (OCCD) invites soccer fans, art lovers, and community members from around the world to experience the Copa De Cliff Immersive Visitor Center and Artists Exhibition celebrating the global spirit of the World Cup through the unique lens of Oak Cliff’s vibrant culture.
From June 12 through July 18, 2026 the Visitor Center will serve as a unique welcoming hub for guests exploring the festivities. Visitors can also explore a vibrant site-specific art installation and exhibition curated by sculptor Art Garcia, featuring one-of-a-kind works by Oak Cliff–based artists capturing the intersection of sport, culture, and identity. Featured artists are:

 Jennifer Monet Cowley - mixed media
 Elise Esquivel - paper
 Art Garcia - sculpture
 Loretta G. - painting
 James Olney - pottery
 Larry Pile – glass
 Pascal Pryor - sculpture
 Giovanni Valderas - sculpture

“Copa De Cliff Immersive Visitor Center and Artists Exhibition is a celebration of connection between artists and athletics, heritage and innovation, beauty and strength, and neighbors and visitors,” said Sylvana Avila Alonzo, vice president of the Oak Cliff Cultural District. “We’re proud to share Oak Cliff’s creativity with the world during this global sporting moment.”

• June 24 | 4–10 p.m. - Copa De Cliff Immersive Visitor Center + Activation Sites
• July 10–11 | 5–10 p.m.
• July 17–18 | 5–10 p.m.
On Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. two of Oak Cliff’s most iconic areas - Bishop Arts District and Jefferson Boulevard - will come alive with cultural activations featuring live performances, local restaurants and bars, and artistic showcases that highlight the diverse history and creative energy of the community.
About the Oak Cliff Cultural District
The Oak Cliff Cultural District is a nonprofit organization located in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas which formally came together to establish itself as a destination for travelers across North Texas and beyond. OCCD is filled with visual and performing artists, restaurants, galleries, theaters, mom and pop shops and major annual events. It is also home to the Bishop Arts District, Jefferson Corridor, Oak Cliff Cultural Center, the historic Turner House (home of the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts,) TyPo District, and the Winnetka Heights Historic District.
