Cooking in the Garden is back! Join us at Simon's Community Garden for an evening of fresh food, good company, and great cooking.

This event will be a little different from the others. We're starting a little earlier, and there will be multiple chefs (we're planning for 3) who will each do a 30-minute cooking demo using the produce and herbs of their choosing. You'll get to watch these amazing chefs in action before enjoying a delicious selection of dishes and good fellowship.

No cooking experience needed. Come curious, come hungry, and bring a friend.

What to expect

• A walk through the garden to see what's in season
• Cooking demos from multiple chefs using fresh produce and herbs grown right here in East Winston
• A taste of everything the chefs make
• Good food and good fellowship

This event is free, but space is limited, so grab your spot early.

Simon's Community Garden is part of SG Atkins CDC and sits behind The Enterprise Center at 1922 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. We're working to bring fresh produce and healthy cooking skills to East Winston, one meal at a time.
