Cooking Club: English Trifle

Thank you for your interest in Cooking Club! It's a great opportunity for women to meet other women in the area. Shannon has graciously offered to host in her newly remodeled kitchen.

She will be showing us how to make English trifle. A trifle is a layered English dessert made with sponge cake or ladyfingers soaked in sherry, fruit, custard, and whipped cream. It is traditionally served in a large, clear glass bowl called a trifle bowl, which allows the distinct layers to be visible. While the classic version is British, modern variations can be made with a wide range of ingredients and are popular for various celebrations.

Please feel free to bring a homemade or store-bought dish to go with it. Please label your dish and include your name and make note of any possible food sensitivities - contains peanuts/soy/wheat/eggs, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, etc.

2:00 PM: Arrival

2:15 PM: Shannon will demo how to make English trifle

2:45 PM: Eat and socialize

4:30 PM: Clean-up

It'll cost $10 cash to attend. Payable at the event.
