Cooking Club: Clam Chowder

Thank you for your interest in Cooking Club! It's a great opportunity for women to meet other women in the area.
Lois has graciously offered to host us at her home. She will be showing us the secret to making the best clam chowder. Clam chowder has been a staple in North American cuisine since the 1700s, combining the maritime traditions of European colonists with the abundant clams and indigenous ingredients found along the East Coast.
As a fun twist, Lois would like us to wear something that we own and have no place to wear it! It could be an evening or wedding gown, sports gear, anything goes, but it should be something that is hiding in your closet! :)
Please feel free to bring a dish to share. Write the name of your dish and any possible food sensitivities on a piece of paper (contains peanuts/dairy/pork, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, etc.)
2:00 PM: Arrival
2:15 PM: Lois will show us how to make clam chowder
2:45 PM: Enjoy snacks and socialize
4:30 PM: Clean-up
It'll cost $10 cash to attend. Payable at the event. That'll cover the ingredients and supplies.
