Cookies for the Cause at Sunshine Sweets

Local favorite bakery, Sunshine Sweets by Rachel, is offering to donate $1 for every "sunshine" sugar cookie sold in the month of June to help support food-insecure seniors of Knox County.
☀️🍪When VNA Community Services reached out to Sunshine Sweets by Rachel about becoming part of “Sunshine for Seniors 2026,” there wasn’t hesitation or uncertainty. Just excitement, creativity, and an immediate willingness to help support Knox County seniors.
And honestly… one look at these incredible cookie designs tells you everything you need to know.
These aren’t just cookies.
They’re edible little works of art.
☀️Thankfully, they’re every bit as delicious as they are beautiful.
And we are already excited to order a dozen or two ourselves for the senior center once June rolls around. 💛
This is exactly the kind of collaboration that makes “Sunshine for Seniors” so special. Huge thank you to Rachel and Sunshine Sweets for helping us spread a little extra sunshine across Knox County! ☀️
