Who doesn't love bread and soup? Talented Mary Robers (local cook and library friend) returns to Cook the Book to share how to start sourdough and a lovely pairing with tomato soup. Book selections include SOURDOUGH: A NOVEL by Robert Sloan and THE SOURDOUGH BIBLE by Mike Gandolfine We all love to look at cookbooks, pouring over the rich, gorgeous photographs, marking pages maybe even copying some recipes. Like us, do you fall apart at the actual cooking/baking commitment? No worries.
Join us each month for a Cook the Book program. We select a book and recipe and, unlike other programs, you won't have to cook, just show up and taste the recipe!
We're even going to pair each recipe with a book from our collection - a complete tasting for gastronomy and taste buds!
