Randwick City Council presents the 24th Annual Coogee Carols at the Goldstein Reserve, Coogee Beach on Sunday 21 December 2025 from 6.30 until 8.30 pm.This free event draws an audience from local and surrounding areas to celebrate community, family and the spirit of Christmas, opposite one of the most beautiful beaches in the world for a relaxed night of fun for everyone to enjoy.
Radio and TV personalities Amanda Keller and Alex Lee will co host Coogee Carols 2025!
Digital Song Book:
A digital song book to sing along to the Coogee Carols will be available closer to the event date.
Tips for Coogee Carols:
🎵 This event is popular, so arrive early to secure a spot with your picnic blanket.
🎵 Please note no Marquees or Cabanas are allowed on the grassed area.
🎵 Parking is very limited. Please walk, cycle, or use public transport or ride share services.
🎵 Glass, smoking and alcohol are banned on Coogee Beach and surrounding reserves.
🎵 Please dispose of your rubbish responsibly or take your rubbish with you when you leave.
🎵 Please wear sunscreen and appropriate sun safe clothing when attending an outdoor event and drink lots of water.
🎵 The event site will be patrolled by security and first aid officers onsite from 1pm-9pm.
🎵 Dogs are welcome, however please be advised that the event can draw large crowds and it can get quite loud for your furry friends when the show is on.
🎵 Accessible services available
There is an accessible seating area with a hearing loop at the event, this area will be clearly marked with hearing loop and accessible signage.
🎵 Access to accessible parking within the carpark (until exhausted) will be maintained at all times, please showcase your blue badge to a security guard upon arrival if you require an accessible parking within the Coogee Parking Area.
🎵 There will be Auslan interpreters at this event, please watch the screens to see them whilst the show is on.
🎵 Traffic and public transport information
🎵 Public transport to and from Coogee will continue to operate for bus public transport information including busses please visit transportnsw.info
Please Note: Buses only will be allowed on Arden St between Carr St and Dolphin St under police direction and 10Km/H speed limit will be in place and ENFORCED BY POLICE in that section of road.
To allow for the audience to safely depart after the event, Arden Street between Carr and Bream Streets, and Coogee Bay Road between Arden and Vicar Street will be closed, between 8:00pm and 9:15pm.
Car park closures:
Coogee Parking Area on Dolphin Street near the Coogee Pavilion will be closed from 12noon to 10pm on Sunday 21 December.
Access to accessible parking within the carpark (until exhausted) will be maintained at all times, please showcase your blue badge to a security guard upon arrival if you require an accessible parking within the Coogee Parking Area.
Restricted access areas:
At the conclusion of the carols at 8.30pm there will be a five-minute fireworks display. To ensure a safe launch site, there will be an exclusion zone in Dunningham Reserve near the Bali Memorial and a small section of the Northern end of Coogee Beach. These areas will be restricted to public access from approximately 5:00pm – 10:30pm.
