Conway LID Bioswale Maintenance Training

Training for City of Conway staff on Low Impact Development (LID) focusing on bioswales. The training will begin with an overview of LID principles, highlighting how bioswales function and contribute to stormwater management. Participants will learn key practices for maintaining bioswale performance and long-term functionality. The workshop will also explore the role of native plants in stormwater management systems, including their benefits and maintenance needs. Special attention will be given to the plant species featured in the Kingston Bioswale and Pocket Wetland, along with general maintenance guidelines to help keep these systems both functional and aesthetically appealing.
