Join RAAL FR for the inaugural "Conversations in the Current", a new series bringing together artists and creative voices to share ideas, experiences, and the stories behind their work.
For our first event, three accomplished women artists from France, Scotland, and the United States will discuss their creative journeys, artistic practices, and the inspirations that shape their work. Each presentation offers a unique perspective on contemporary art, creative exploration, and building a life dedicated to making art.
Featured Artists
Marie Calmet (France)
An internationally exhibited printmaker and sculptor whose poetic work explores nature, texture, and the expressive possibilities of collagraphy.
Sara Proudler (Scotland / France)
Sara's work combines abstraction, experimentation, and years of experience as an artist and educator. Her practice is inspired by the rhythms, patterns, and forms found in nature.
Gail Borowski (United States)
A mixed-media artist, muralist, and educator whose work celebrates color, nature, memory, and the joy of creative exploration. Gail is the current Artist-in-Residence at RAAL FR.
