Conversations Cocktails and Chemistry

During the speed dating event, you'll have the chance to meet and date multiple like minded people in one evening. Your chance to serial date in a judgement free atmosphere! We ask that you come in with an open mind and ready to experience something new!

Things will move quickly, so be prepared to think on your feet. Dress as you would on a first date, remember you can never make a first impression twice-make it count.

***Housekeeping***

If you are married, in a relationship or someone thinks they are in a relationship with you-this isn’t the event for you. We aren’t curating situationships and side pieces here. This is a positive and high energy event and we want to keep things drama free. Now that we’ve acknowledged the elephant in the room, keep reading if you agree to keep it sexy and sophisticated.
Rules of Engagement

You will start the evening by checking in, experiencing a black owned wine vendor and enjoy a wine tasting. You can also purchase a cocktail at the bar if you so choose and enjoy a complimentary bite to eat. During this time you will be able to mingle with other singles as they check in. As soon as everyone gets checked in, a pencil and paper will be provided to each person to take notes on whom you’ve dated. Take good notes!

***Important***

Completion of the Love, Skye Compatibility Compass, isn’t mandatory, but it would be helpful if you complete it (don’t be that person without your homework). Your compass will not be shared with anyone, unless you choose to share. You will receive your compass via email once your payment is submitted. This will assist us with matching at the conclusion of the evening along with completed match forms. It also may offer insight and talking points throughout the evening.

How Does This Work?

One man will sit across from one woman at designated tables. There will be one man and one woman per table. There will be a few ice breaker questions on the table just in case you’re nervous! No worries, this is supposed to be fun and not an algebra test. Every few minutes the men will rotate to the next woman until everyone has dated in the allotted time. There will be breaks in between. Once we're done with the speed dating rotations you can feel free to stick around at the venue and continue the night!

What Happens at the End??
We will notify you of matches within 48 hours after the event so that you can send messages to anyone you’ve met. Rest assured, we won't release your personal information such as your last name or e-mail address- that is solely up to you to give that information. You will receive the name of the person or persons you’ve matched with and we will ask if you would like to connect with your match/matches.

Check in 4:00pm.
Dating begins at 5:00pm promptly!
Dating will last approximately from 5pm- 5:20pm.
Mingling and Games 6:30pm - 8pm.
Please check in promptly at 4:00pm so you have a chance to start conversations early and grab refreshments before the dating begins.
