We delighted to announce that, following some lovely meetings, we are working with this iconic venue in the March 'Conversations with...' event.
"On Thursday 6 March we are celebrating International Women’s Day with the art historian Frances Borzello.
Her latest book is a fully revised and updated edition of A World of Our Own, one of the first explorations of how women have always practised as artists, but for centuries have been overlooked in the art world.
Their work derided as second-rate, and presence unwelcome in a male profession, it examines how, against the odds, women overcame these difficulties.
This evening is a collaboration with the group Threads, whose exhibition, exploring the stories of women, is at the Found Gallery in Brecon, and whose launch coincides with the Brecon Women’s Festival."
