About this Event
You interact with AI dozens of times before your morning coffee — and not all of it is working in your favor. This panel brings together experts to help everyday people understand the AI-driven risks hiding in plain sight — and what you can do about them. You'll leave with a clearer picture of how to recognize AI-enabled threats, protect your data and identity, and make more informed choices about the tools you use every day.
Conversations About AI is a series of panel discussions that aims to make sense of how AI might affect your daily life, whether you're a professional, small business owner, artist, parent, student, or simply curious. You’ll hear about what’s changing and come to understand both how it impacts your work and community and some practical steps you can take to keep pace and be more equipped to navigate what’s ahead.
Please be advised that seating is first come first served and photographs will be taken at this event. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let our staff know at check-in.
This event is part of a series presented by The New York Public Library in collaboration with Women TechExchange as part of the Library's AI Literacy initiative.
The “Conversations about AI” series is made possible by the generous support of .
