Conversation Course (physical and online)

Conversation Course is a program designed for international students to improve their conversational skills in Romanian. The classes will start on the 9th of July 2026 and will take place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in a two-hour session, with a total number of 32 hours, until the 1st of September 2026. The minimum level for this class is A2.
Unlike an ordinary course, the focus will be on the conversation only, without following a specific curriculum. Similar to an ordinary course, the teacher will correct, discuss, and explain all language mistakes. In this course, you will: speak more confidently, communicate more clearly, improve all aspects of oral communication, practice listening more attentively, and learn new vocabulary and phrases that help with your fluency. You are invited to ask questions about Romanian!
Teaching methods: role-plays, debates, mini-presentations, discussions, and dialogues.
Topics for A2 levels: introducing yourself, getting directions, daily program, getting a taxi, hotel reservation, buying fruit and vegetables, ordering food and drinks, public places, an invitation, at the pharmacy, etc.
Topics for B1 & B2 levels: places of interest, cities of Romania, online guides, family members, medical appointments, phone conversations, spectacles & culture, hobbies, sports, weather, etc.
For your convenience, these lessons will be offered both physically and online, giving you the flexibility to attend in person or participate from the comfort of your own home.
