CONVERSATION AND SOUP
Conversation and Soup is a regular gathering at Bybi for exploring different perspectives and experimenting with conversation formats from different cultures and traditions. It is free and for anyone in the Bybi community who is interested.
This autumn we will hold a series of three conversations exploring 'care' and 'carelessness' in the food system - based on our own experiences and dilemmas here in Denmark . Over the three dates we will explore different aspects of the question using different conversation techniques.
If you play an active role in transforming the food system and want to unveil some of its complex and invisible dynamics, or if you are a concerned citizen wanting to understand the reasons behind the current challenges or if you are simply curious, join us for one of the conversations or all three.
27th November: Time Loop

Our food habits are not just for the present. Our relationships and practices with what we eat, how we cultivate and how we share are passed on through the genertions. This format helps us to talk about intergenerational responsibility. Perhaps it will give us a way to work around the dominance and limits of the food system as we experience it today.
The Time Loop format is inspired by indigenous people in North America and original developed by Building Conversations. Imagine if you could discuss a dilemma like 'should i become vegetarian' or 'should i take slimming medicine' with your ancestors who lived in the past, or your descendents in the future. By standing in different parts of the room, we speak from different points in time. Time Loop is a powerful format that opens many new perspectives.
