This week our feature is Malden's own author, musician, and occasional poet Jason M. Rubin!Doors at 6:30, cameras on at 7, everyone out of the building at 8:15. Open mic is run in rounds time permitting, bring extra material!

Jason M. Rubin has been a professional writer since 1985, when he graduated from UMass-Amherst with a degree in Journalism. He currently works as a writer in the Development Department at McLean Hospital. Jason is the author of three books: Ancient Tales Newly Told, which pairs two historical romance novellas in a single volume; Villainy Ever After, a set of classic fairy tales told from the villains’ perspective; and SHORTS, his just-released collection of short fiction. Jason also leads journaling and writing workshops and contributes music criticism to The Arts Fuse, a regional online arts magazine.
