Contra Costa Con Celebrates all things STAR WARS March 30

Contra Costa Con 2025 Star Wars Celebration is Sunday, March 30, at the Hilton Concord Hotel in Concord featuring actors and creative talents from the Star Wars family.

This 3rd annual Contra Costa Con Star Wars Celebration is open from 10 am to 4 pm with free parking at the Hilton. Kids 9 and under are free.

We will be celebrating 4 Star Wars anniversaries this year:

10th Anniversary The Force Awakens – Star Wars Episode VII

20th Anniversary Revenge of the Sith – Star Wars Episode III

30th Anniversary Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire video game

40th Anniversary Ewoks: The Battle for Endor

Star Wars actors will be on hand all day at Contra Costa Con to meet their fans and present a free panel including (partial list):

• C. Andrew Nelson (portrayed Darth Vader since 1994)
• Margo Apostolos (Ewok Tokkat)
• Kevin Thompson (Ewok Chubbray, also Blade Runner, The Ewok Adventure)
• David Gonzalez (Ak-Rev--Jabba the Hutt's drum master)

Panels will feature actors, Industrial Light and Magic wizards, members of Star Wars cosplay groups, the talents behind the video game Rebel Assault II and more.

Star Wars costuming groups Rebel Legion Endor Base, Mandalorian Mercs, 501st Golden Gate Garrison and Droid Builders will be on hand all day for their fans.

We are also presenting Contra Costa Halloween Con on Sunday, Oct. 19 in the Hilton Concord.

Our first 10 Contra Costa Cons have been smash hits. Toys, collectibles, artwork, comics, anime, art, apparel, games, LEGO and much more will be featured at the family-friendly show hosted by Bay Area Festivals and American Brick Builders.

The free, family-friendly STAR WARS Cosplay Costume Contest for attendees will feature cash and merchandise prizes for creative Star Wars characters in different age groups. Contest registration will be taken during the day with contest judging at 3 o'clock. Only Star Wars-themed costumes will be eligible for prizes.

New items and collectibles from Disney, Transformers, Funko Pop, Star Wars, LEGO, Pokémon, G.I. Joe, Marvel, DC, Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, Hot Wheels and much more will be available by the wide variety of exhibitors at the show. Posters, art, prints, t-shirts, hats, apparel, anime, sports cards, books, comics, Legos, buttons, pins, classic video games, jewelry and cards are featured too.

Kids 9 and under are free.

VIP Tickets which include admission to the show as well as access to all the panels at Contra Costa Con are $25 with a $2 Toy Buck included in the price.

Admission tickets are $12 and include a $2 Toy Buck with each advance purchase online. That sale ends at 9am March 30.

Online sales continue until the end of Contra Costa Con 5. Door sales begin at 9:45 am at the Hilton on March 30.

The Hilton Concord Hotel Golden Gate Ballroom is located at 1970 Diamond Blvd, 3 blocks off Interstate 680 in Concord.

Star Wars' David Gonzalez (Ak-Rev--Jabba the Hutt's drum master in Return of the Jedi). The talented musician is always a Contra Costa Con favorite.
