CONTINUUM: Choral Music For Cambridge

Join Continuum a dynamic professional chamber choir for an evening of choral excellence at Clare Hall Cambridge on 26th April 2025. Following their acclaimed 2024 performance Continuum returns with a program dedicated to choral works written for Cambridge’s Colleges by Arvo Pärt Charles Villiers Stanford Judith Weir Jonathan Dove and Pawel Łukaszewski alongside music by Cambridge-based composer Lucy Walker reflecting the beginnings of an evolving collaboration between Lucy Continuum and Clare Hall.

Celebrated as one of Classic FM’s Rising Stars in 2024 Lucy Walker is known for her vibrant choral writing praised as “full of light and beautifully crafted” by Bob Chilcott. Her works performed by leading ensembles such as VOCES8 and The Sixteen complement Continuum’s signature blend of tradition and innovation.

Under the direction of Harry Guthrie Continuum unites some of the UK’s finest young singers many of whom began their musical journeys in Cambridge’s collegiate choirs.
