Charitable gifts often involve more than cash. Nationally recognized charitable planning expert Bryan K. Clontz, Founder and President of Charitable Solutions, LLC, will provide an overview of charitable planning with non-cash assets, including real estate, closely held business interests, life insurance, and other appreciated property.

The presentation will include an overview of non-cash asset planning, current legislative updates, common considerations surrounding these gifts, and real-world case studies focused on real estate and closely held business interests.



SPEAKER BIO:

Bryan K. Clontz, Ph.D., CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CAP®, RICP®, CBP, ChSNC®, CEPA®, AEP® Distinguished is the Founder and President of Charitable Solutions, LLC, specializing in non-cash asset receipt and liquidation, gift annuity reinsurance brokerage, gift annuity risk management consulting, emergency assistance funds, and asset appraisals and audits. He also serves as Senior Partner of Ekstrom Alley Clontz, a community foundation management consulting firm.

Bryan is the founder of the Dechomai Foundation, Inc. and the Dechomai Asset Trust, two national donor advised funds focused on non-cash assets and S-corp/UBIT transactions. These foundations have raised more than $5 billion in noncash gifts. He has delivered more than 2,000 presentations on charitable gift planning and community foundation topics, authored numerous publications, and currently serves as a monthly columnist on charitable tax issues for Forbes.
