The origins of house music are as much about rhythm as they are about melody. Continental Drifts explores the percussive core of the genre—where African drumming traditions meet the rolling groove of dub, the swing of Latin percussion, and the complex rhythms of Middle Eastern music.
These aren’t predictable four-to-the-floor club tracks. The selections move fluidly between tempos and moods, using organic elements to build something more immersive. Expect layered rhythms, deep basslines, and records that don’t sit neatly in genre boxes.
