Contemporary With Pan - 6-Week Course

Hi everybody! I'll be leading open level contemporary dance courses on multiple dates on Fridays from 18:45 to 20:00 at the Circle Gym & Spa.

Whether you're a professional dancer, an experienced mover or a beginner, everyone's welcomed! Beginners are highly encouraged to join, as this course focuses on learning.

  "This is an open level physical and dynamic contemporary dance class influenced by Release and David Zambrano’s Flying Low techniques.In this class we will explore the possibilities of form, qualities and musicality within a sequence.In the first part of the class we will warm up by building strength and mobility through the whole body. Followed by a series of floor work tasks, acrobatics and improvisation, we are going to explore how we can use our body to find ways to expand our movement and improve our flow. We will also focus on the use of a variety of qualities and how we can use them in accordance with musicality in order to keep our movement interesting and adaptable in different circumstances and enhance our versatility as performers. In the last part of the class, we will learn a sequence where we will apply all the principles which we have been working on throughout the class."
