This is a focused contemporary room for dancers who want more than copying steps, finishing counts, or repeating the same safe movements.
Most dancers can learn a phrase.
But can you make the phrase breathe?
Can you interpretate lyrics word by word?
Can you perform a lyric without making it obvious?
Can you stay still without disappearing, move without moving?
Can you improvise at the level of performance, without repeating?
Can you respond to another body or dancer without waiting for fixed steps?

A Graham-based session for dancers who want movement to start from the body, not from posing.
Xenia will work with breath, centre, spine, floor, contraction and release, helping dancers find clearer initiation, stronger physical intention, and more truth in the body before style is added on top.

Flow • Texture • Rhythm • Contrast • Musicality • Lyricality • Performance
This class brings a modern musical edge to contemporary movement.
Avikk will work with rhythm shifts, pauses, accents, texture, musicality, lyricality and performance quality.
Here, lyricality is not only soft movement and musicality is not just beats.
It is word-by-word Interpretations and not just movements.
It is layer-by-layer muscality and not just catching beats.
It is Music beyond the counts.
You will work on how to catch musicality lyrics, perform meaning without becoming literal, use silence, change texture, and make movement feel personal, sharp, musical and alive.

SOLO PERFORMANCE & DUET / CONTACT IMPROVISATION
with Avikk 🕺🏽, assisted by Xenia 💃🏼
There is a difference between dancing alone and holding a solo.
There is also a difference between freestyle and performance-level improvisation.
Avikk will lead this session from his experience of solo performances on TV shows, concerts, major stages, international events and performance projects.
You will explore how to enter, hold attention, use stillness, perform lyrics, bring real feeling, avoid overacting, stop repeating safe movements, and make improvisation look polished, not accidental.
Then the work opens into duet and contact improvisation, with Xenia assisting the partner response and connection part.
