Contemporary Evening Length Work: Leave It Better Thank you Found It

Eshgh, is a contemporary based dance company founded by Phoenix native Mitra Matin.
"Leave It *Better Than You Found It", comes home for its first Phoenix performance following its successful productions in New York City.
Inspired by the familiar phrase “leave it better than you found it,” this evening-length work explores what we leave behind in one another. Threads that remain after people enter and exit our lives, the pieces we carry forward, and the ways our encounters change us and those we fuse to. People arrive, people leave, and sometimes we leave ourselves behind only to find a new way back. Every encounter leaves a thread. Some unravel, some remain, all become part of who we are.
Through contemporary movement, storytelling, and collaboration, “Leave It *Better Than You Found It" is an invitation to reflect on connection, departure, return, and the traces we leave behind.
November 14th at 7:30PM, come and experience Eshgh as the company begins a new chapter, bringing this work home.
