Contemplative Prayer Gathering

We will be gathering to both explore the facets of contemplative prayer and sit in silence with each other in that practice. This will be ongoing and is intended to be very beginner-friendly no matter when you join us be it this first session or many sessions down the road. We will begin with the framework of Centering Prayer but will explore other ways to practice letting go to help everyone find a contemplative prayer method that works best for them.

If you are a beginner this is for you. If you have been doing this for a while come with a beginner's mind and help others start on this journey. If you have been doing this for a while and have found a method that works well for you I would love to have you help present it to the group!

As we get more experienced in this and/or there are book studies etc going on at the same time on Wednesday we will move this to a simple 20-minute sit before those Wednesday events start.
